Ava DuVernay and Autumn Riley

The birth of Ava DuVernay was on August 24 on the 24th of August, 1972, in Long Beach California. As a child DuVernay's Aunt Denise inspired her love of artistic expression and creative thinking. Aunt Denise was a nurse, who did night shifts to ensure that she could devote her days to theatre and literature as well as art. DuVernay was first introduced to the film West Side Story by her aunt. DuVernay realized after watching her mother's examples of that art can be an effective vehicle for social activism. DuVernay's mother also had a social consciousness and taught DuVernay how to communicate by means of the medium of art. DuVernay was raised with her family in Compton and spent her summers at Lowndes County Alabama in the family home of her father. DuVernay's Dad recalled seeing the civil rights march of the past along the Edmund Pettus Bridge near the town of Selma Alabama. DuVernay was influenced by the summers she spent in Selma to later direct a documentary about King's father, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. In the year 1990, DuVernay was a graduate of Saint Joseph High School in Lakewood California. DuVernay attended University of California Los Angeles after graduating, where she received qualifications in English as well as African American Studies. While she was still studying, DuVernay began to consider producing for the broadcast media. Her first job was as an assistant for CBS News in the O.J. Simpson trial. DuVernay recalled being asked to check the trash in the house of a member of jury. As a result of her work, she became dissatisfied with journalistic work and entered the public relations industry. DuVernay began her professional career as a junior publicity assistant for a film studio that was small following her graduation from the college. Her private PR company, The DuVernay Agency was created in 1999. In addition, she launched several lifestyle and promotion networks such as Urban Beauty Collective. Urban Eye, HelloBeautiful, and Urban Thought Collective. Autumn Riley.............................Autumn Riley was born in Los Angeles United States. Her zodiac sign is the.
